All-New Electric Silverado

Electric Silverado
Pickup-truck capability takes a step into the future with the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. This electric performer, which was forged from the ground up to excite your drive, is expected to show up at Sport Chevrolet in the Fall of 2023. In the meantime, here’s what to expect from this game-changer.

Performance

You’ll be thrilled at over 660 horsepower and 780 lb.-ft. of torque available for the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV. You’ll easily rush from 0 to 60 MPH in under 4.5 seconds. The GM-estimated range should achieve 400 miles on a full charge. Maximum towing will start at 10,000 with a payload of up to 1,300 lbs.
The truck is built on the Ultium Platform, consisting of 24 modules stacked horizontally on the floor of the vehicle. Its e4WD system puts a motor in the front and rear. Four-wheel steering minimizes the turning radius at low speeds to maximize your maneuverability. At high speeds, it increases stability and handling, especially when you’re towing a trailer.
Available Four-Cornet Air Ride Adaptive Suspension automatically adjusts the suspension to give you the smoothest ride over any terrain. You can also raise or lower the vehicle height by up to 2 inches.

Charging

You’ll have three ways to power up:
  • 120-volt charging at home relies on your standard three-prong 120-volt household.
  • 240-vol level 2 charging gives you the fastest home charge times from a 240-volt appliance outlet.
  • DC fast charging at over 40,000 available public charging stations at up to 350 kW gives you an estimated 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
Depending on the trim you choose, you’ll have access to Ultium Charge 360, which simplifies charging at more than 100,000 public stations in the USA and Canada.

Exterior

You can fit gear up to 5’11” long in the standard bed of the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. If you have longer items, you can fold down the 60/40 rear seats, open the Multi-Flex Midgate between the cab and bed, and the Multi-flex Tailgate with power release to fit items up to 10’10” long. You can secure the cargo bed with an available tonneau cover that locks.
Without an engine, the compartment under the hood becomes the eTrunk, a lockable weatherproof compartment that offers additional storage space. Higher up, the Panoramic Fixed-Glass Roof brightens the cabin with daylight while filtering glare.

Technology

When you approach the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV with an enabled key fob or smartphone, the truck greets you with a unique lighting animation. With Hands-Free Start, the truck turns on automatically as soon as you enter, enabling you to buckle up with your free hands.
On the dashboard behind the wheel of the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV glows the reconfigurable 11-inch diagonal Driver Instrument Display. You can also get your information from a color Head-Up Display with a field of view stretching over 14 inches.
In the center dash, the available freeform LCD infotainment screen measures a diagonal 17 inches. It and the rest of the pickup’s software is updated seamlessly and automatically by Ultifi, a Linux-based software platform. Google built-in lets you access Google Play, Google Assistant, and Google Maps.

On over 200,000 miles of compatible roads in the USA and Canada, you can engage Super Cruise driver assistance technology, which lets you travel hands-free by monitoring your traffic surroundings.

Safety

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV guards you and your passengers with Chevy Safety Assist, which consists of the following.
  • Forward Collision Alert warns you if you’re about to hit the vehicle in front of you. If you don’t react appropriately in time, Automatic Emergency Braking engages a stop to prevent an accident.
  • Front Pedestrian Braking gives you the same protection when a person is in the truck’s path.
  • The Following Distance Indicator shows you the gap time between you and the next vehicle, so you can judge if you are following too closely.
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning depends on gentle steering wheel turns to tell you that you’re drifting across the lanes without a turn signal.
  • IntelliBeam® High Beam Assist automatically switches between low and high beams at night when it detects the approach of another vehicle.
