The dealership work side of the service was fine. I always feel the dealer is not being honest with you, which is th top of th list for a continued relationship. The DEF tanka nd heater failed the second time on my 2016 Silverado Duramax. I ask the service adviser is it covered, you already replaced it once at my expense! He said no it's not covered, where is the documentation., they work off commission, how am I supposed to trust someone I have never met. I have spent 1500 on the DEF tank once, now second time spent $1243 on the same repair, looks like Chevy screwed up that a plastic tank fails twice on a 65K truck. Online the forums discuss this and say it is a recall, how come the dealer didn't mention this. Without trust it is unlikely I will return for another truck service.

Hello Kevin, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We understand your frustration, especially after investing significant amounts into repairs that seem to be recurring. We truly value your trust, and it's concerning to hear that you felt the service experience lacked transparency. Regarding the DEF reservoir kit issue, we did perform the repairs at no cost to you during the GM factory warranty period 12/6/2019. I wanted to get clarification on where else you may have gone for this repair since then. According to our records, since it has been close to 6 years and over 130,000 miles since we performed the initial repair, the warranty period has unfortunately expired. We also apologize for the manufacturer not issuing this as a recall due to it not meeting NHTSA guidelines even though many online forums ma y be discussing this. We understand how frustrating this must be, and we’re sorry that this issue wasn’t addressed sooner. Please feel free to reach out directly so we can discuss this matter further and work towards a resolution. Your continued trust is vital, and we want to do everything we can to earn it back. Late one thursday afternoon I came in unannounced due to a dashboard message saying "service battery fault- vehicle won't restart".I asked for Derek but he wasn't available so Rose wrote up my situation including other similar messages over the prior 2 weeks. She was friendly and helpful despite my concern. Derek called Friday morning and let me know they were looking into it. by Friday afternoon they knew that parts had to be ordered and the repair would require lowering the propulsion battery to access a module. He told me it might take much of the following week. I got a call Tuesday from one of the 2 front desk/payment women, Que and Alondra, and I spoke with the other one later, who walked me through the use of Chevy points to reduce my overall cost. They were both very pleasant and helpful!

The Chevrolet brand is a brand that I like. But for the past year I've been a little on it. I respect my revisions normally at Maison Chevrolet. After repairing the breakdown, barely two weeks ago, another breakdown was looming. I have the impression that after the breakdown is repaired, they don't drive to make sure that the job is done well before returning the vehicle. I just drive around the chevrolet at all times. I find myself without a car. Once I asked for a car, at least to go to work, I was told that I had to pre-finance the car rental and bring back the bill afterwards. I am a single mom. Granted, I arrived without an appointed and somewhat of an emergency. My driver's side window was stuck down and it was evident by the sound that the regulator was malfunctioning-definitely broken. I was charged 190.00 to remove the door panel and tell me it was broken. The final total charges were more than 1100.00. I do consider this outrageous. I will not refer anyone to your shop. Again? Ridiculous amount of money to replace the window regulator on a 2014 Chevy Cruze.

Poor experience, took my car in for the first service and I was expecting it to be comp’d due to it being the first one however I was ultimately charged for the full maintenance service. I also had to be charged for 2 hours of labor for a broken antenna to be repaired only for it to be done in an hour, 696.44 for something they did in under an hour. Ridiculous.

I made my appointment for 4 tires replaced on my 2021 Silverado with original equipment tires two weeks prior to the day of service. I was given several email and text messages to remind me of my tire replacements at 7:00am on a Tuesday. I arrive at 6:45am and a gentlemen staff member had me fill out a check in form while I awaited my assigned service member. After settling in to the waiting room an hour in I was told they did not have my tires in stock. Wish I have known that in advance of my early arrival. Though I was told they should arrive this morning and that they did. The tires arrived shortly after 9:00am and I was out around 11:30am. This was longer than I had planned to wait for 4 tires to be installed. That said, the team members were all friendly and offered to drop me at my office but I had planned to wait as generally less than 2 hours would be reasonable for 4 tires to be mounted, balanced and installed. While in the waiting room Gibbs, the owner stopped in and offered everyone a drink to be sure all were comfortable. Luckily for me there were several other car owners who we all just shared our Sport Chevrolet stories and the care management takes to keep us coming back.

I had to keep calling to get updates on my car. The person who was in charge of my car was never around to answer questions and I would leave a call back number but did not hear anything until they said my car was ready for pick up. By that time I already had seen the invoice via email and when I get there the cost is almost $300 more than what was in the invoice. After that was corrected and i received my paperwork I get in my car only to find my passenger cloth seat is completely filled with dirt/oil stains from the mechanic and they left it like that. So now I’ll have to get it upholstered or a car detail which will cost even more out of my pocket after spending $2500 in repairs.

My most recent experience has been negative. I made a 8:30 appointment to have lug nuts replaced on my car only 2 sit for 2 hrs to be told that they did not have the parts. I was told that the parts had to be ordered and would take a week to come. Why wasn't I called ahead of time and told that the parts were not there as my time is valuable. I have called 3 times and left messages for someone to call me back with no response. This was a first for me as I have never experienced such poor customer service, I have had dealing with this dealership several times before and never have I been treated in this manner.

The service department was wonderful--as usual. What was expected to be a 2-3 week wait for parts turned into an 18 hour repair and return! I don't know how they found the ERG valve, but they did and Jesse even figured out that what went wrong on my 2019 Volt, was still under warranty. The Asheville dealership said that it could take months to find the needed part, and that it would cost about $2600 to repair. I'm obviously very very happy with the outcome. But I'm not surprised. When I had my Saturn years back, I was so impressed with the Sport Chevrolet service center, that I decided to buy a Chevy... and I got my first Volt in 2012 (and my second one in 2019). It would be great if Chevy started making the Volt again, and/or a plug in hybrid SUV. Thanks!

The entire team was super helpful and wonderful and we enjoyed the experience. Manufacturer: While we enjoyed the car so far (48 hour usage) we did encouter some issues with the software on the car. Specifically the interface of Google maps. My wife and I were able to connect to the car no problems via bluetooth, but using google maps showed blank screen. It wasn't until I used my hot spot on my phone that I was able to use google maps. I believe the app we are using is not the same as androidauto app so we may need to look into that. Onstar capablitiles, quality and features of the car is amazing overall. Overall Dealership: 5/5 Maufacturere: 4.5/5

Great service for a 2004 Astro. Needed a new generator to replace the 21-year-old original. Sooo thankful remanufactured part was quickly available (dropped Astro off @ 3:45 on Friday, tech called at 2:00 on a Saturday that it was finished & ready for pickup.). We had been stranded in NE PA on Thursday night when Astro starter wouldn’t crank. Put charger on 4-month- old battery overnight. Called Ray Price Chevy in Mt Pocono Friday AM @ 8:05 to see if I could get it repaired by Monday afternoon. Nope. Best they could do was give me an Appt for 8/25 or 8/26. Parts mgr did call back mid morning to tell me that the remanu part was available in the system. Decided against renting car and leaving Astro @ Price for 2 weeks awaiting repair. Decided to take the chance that by running w/o AC for the 3:45 long drive to MD, that sick generator and recharged battery would provide enough power to get home—or at least half-way to Harrisburg PA where I could find a dealer better able to do a quicker repair than Ray Price with a loaner or rental available. Got all the way home, unloaded w/o turning off the engine and drive to Sport. Sooo happy w/ Sport for my Astro & 2019 Tahoe Premier. Derek and team are absolutely the best service dept I’ve ever had & I’m 77. PS—the 2004 Astro is our FIFTH one stretching back to our first in 1987–yes, bought from Sport!

Normally happy with work from dealership, but. This spring I heard odd noise from outside, and brought in shop, nothing found. Odd noise turned into non-working tire sensor this month, which was replaced. Only thing worrying me is that I paid for the sensor replacement but the damage and noise was caused by loose tire weights inside tire. Very odd. The weights could only have have come from prior work on the tire from the dealership because I've taken it nowhere else.

When I arrived I was greeted by Hope ( I think I remember that correctly) who said that it was not a problem and they would be able to do the oil change. She gave me a time frame of 1.5 to 2 hours and it was right around 2 hours to complete the job. I appreciate not being made to feel like a fool for my mistake. Thank you.

I’ve been dealing with two ongoing issues with my truck — first, the A/C, which Willy had fixed quickly and easily, and second, an intermittent loss of power steering. I made an appointment because I had a recall notice. I was quoted that it would take 90 minutes. After 2.5 hours I was quoted that it would only be another hour. After 2 more hours my car was finally ready for a total of a 5.5 hour wait. In addition, I had to wait around the lobby to be greeted and checked in. When I checked out there was still trash in the car and the seat was adjusted all the way forward so that I could barely get in (I'm over 6 feet tall). Although my advisor thanked me for my patience, it was still a very frustrating experience.

The bottom line is my car is repaired and works well after all is said and done. However, Sport Chevrolet's service department communication to customers is simply bad, inaccurate, incorrect and at times indifferent. There is a stoic vibe in the service department that seems like employees are braced for upset customers. The facts are as follows: The service writer that was assigned I only spoke to once or twice on my car that was in the shop twice for the same problem and roughly 25 service days (yes!). I had to call him and find him and even then, he was unprepared and had to retrieve the status. The worst thing was the promises to call back and follow up which were missed often. I spoke with Hope several times who tries desperately to make up for the general lack of communication and stoic tone of the service department by getting involved in service cases that have issues. I reported the problems to GM EV concierge who helped some by retrieving status I could not get directly or correctly. Several times the car was promised and was days late in one case and weeks late in another update. I was told my car would be more than 2 weeks more to service after it was already 2 weeks past (and originally promised in one week). That is a car under warranty and monthly payments that would be out of service to me for more than a month. I did get a loaner car but did not drive it. It was used to get to and from the dealer. I called GM EV concierge again and all of a sudden 2-3 more weeks became 4 days. The last bad estimate came from the head EV mechanic. I suspect they were part timing the work on my car until someone intervened. In short, bad communication, bad updates, unreliable updates and a few people mixed in who care with a bunch who don't (especially the next layer of management). BTW the Mr. Gibbs called me once and was pleasant and sympathetic but that did not resolve or improve much of anything. Ownership needs to push down care to the rest of the staff especially service management. The dealer does not own the car or manufacturer problem. The dealer owns the service and prompt, accurate and honest communication to customers no matter how good or bad the facts of the case are. A bonus would be to at least act like they care.

Friendly customer service, efficient service. I live in Falls Church but prefer Sport Chevrolet over the closer dealers, who rate very poorly in service. The Lyft from and back to the dealership made dropping off the Volt painless. I also appreciate that there were detailed explanations about the why the repairs/services needed to be made, about what specifically was being fixed or prevented. Two caveats: I had asked for an estimate in writing but instead received an email that I had to click through, approving each suggested fix one by one, before I could see the next fix or a total list and price for what was being recommended. Second, when I picked up my car I was told there was a 3% charge for using a credit card. I very much would have appreciated being told that in advance so I could have brought my checkbook. It was $35 I didn't need or want to spend. That said, everyone was professional and friendly and there was never a hard sell to buy any of the prevention services. Overall, very satisfied with the experience.
